I am Christina, an artist from New Hampshire & Florida, working in the mediums of acrylics, gouache, and mixed materials. I hold a University Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education & Art, two Certifications in English Second Language, and a Beginner's Certificate in Interior Design. I taught grade school children for several years before having a family of my own. After some time away from teaching, I picked up my brushes and began an artistic journey.
I became a member of two local artists' associations which involved attending gallery functions, sitting the gallery, showing work at a variety of venues in New England, and becoming an art show vendor at indoor & outdoor spaces. Through this exposure, I was sought out by the Grumbacher Art Company to instruct at a nationwide art supply store. I taught classes in acrylics to both adults and children in many locations. Additionally, I have 2 pieces of work hanging on permanent display in a large venue in NH.
While in Florida, I continue to paint and show & sell work at outdoor art markets. The body of my work centers on natural objects with curvy lines, mindful of light, shadow, and color.
